A life in the rainforest.
Elvis Stedman didn't choose Dominica's wilderness — he was born into it. Growing up in Laudat, the gateway village to Morne Trois Pitons National Park, the forest was his backyard. Today, it's his classroom, his office, and his life's work.

Elvis Nature Tours has gone beyond guiding tours. When hikers go missing or are injured on Dominica's trails, Elvis and his team are among the first called to assist in search and rescue operations. This is not a service we advertise — it is a responsibility we take seriously as stewards of these mountains.

Search Operations
When a hiker goes missing on Dominica's trails, Elvis and his team mobilise immediately. We know every trail, every fork, every shelter point — knowledge that is critical in a search.
Emergency First Aid
All lead guides are certified in wilderness first aid and emergency response. We carry first aid kits, emergency communication devices, and evacuation equipment on every expedition.
Communication & Coordination
We maintain direct communication with the Dominica Fire & Ambulance Service, the Forestry Division, and local police to coordinate rapid response when needed.
Terrain Expertise
Dominica's volcanic terrain is unforgiving. Our team's intimate knowledge of the landscape — including off-trail areas — is invaluable in locating and reaching injured or missing persons.
